J	John Eats on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Basic room, rough area, breakfast on til 10 but dont think of going down after 9.40. Beds comfy enough. Booked as part of a mystery wowcher holiday otherwise would defonstay elsewhere
A	Alan Guthrie on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean, soft beds... electricity and Wifi... right up the street from the central train station... nice and quiet, breakfast if you want it and plenty of places for food and drinks nearby... and as cheap for your own room as the nearby hostels! It's the perfect place for a frequent but spendthrift traveller like myself.
S	Sean Hickey on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Room is clean and tidy but old and needs updating. Staff is brusque but helpful. Breakfast is filling but no great shakes. It's about 3 km from the Charles Bridge and most of the other stuff you would think of as the to do.list.

P	Piotr Z on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It really is a time travel to the early 90s. The room was quite spacious, but there weren't any amenities at all. Not even a kettle. The building is well past its best times. Good thing there was a lift available. Some of the front desk staff really made you feel unwelcome, and I found that absolutely unacceptable. Front doors are locked at all times so you have to call them every single time you want to leave or enter the building. The building is located just a step away from very good public transport and a short walk away from the Old Town gate, albeit in a rather unpleasant neighbourhood. There may be rather noisy at night and you may come across some shady characters so you won't want to loiter around for too long.
M	Michał on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Check-in was delayed. Economy rooms with the view on the backyard which is loud. Rooms seemed worse looking than in the photos. Plus for the codes instead of the keys and helpful staff.

It was really hot so as soon as we got in the room we knew we wanted to go somewhere else. We waited for the hotel staff respond about refund and it took about 50 min to process the refund and only got 90 euros back. We booked room at Salvatore boutique hotel for 3 nights for 80euros which was way better and cheaper and more central location (check my other reviews). I must say that the staff at ostas were helpful with the luggages but a rip off for the price I paid.

It's like a dated Travelodge, but the rooms were a good size and had fridges in. The price was fantastic for the location, quiet area but some great restaurants nearby and easy tram access, only a few stops from the center. Staff were absolutely lovely. The shower takes a couple minutes to warm up to desired temperature but it was never ice cold when we first turned it on so it was no bother to us. Toilet was old fashioned and didn't have a great flush on it but again it didn't cause much of an issue for us once we worked out the best way to work it, and we were out every day anyway. Would happily stay here again, I would say considering the price and location this actually exceeded my expectations, I paid £40 for a travelodge off Fontwell roundabout in the middle of winter and considering this worked out £50 a night in spring near the city center with restaurants, Lidl and trams nearby we considered it quite a bargain. 5/5 as it was exactly as advertised, better than we expected (after reading some of these reviews we lowered our expectations) and we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.
