★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is amazing Hotel. 5 stars for 4 stars hotel. Very good breakfast, super interior, very nice service. But there is small problem with People with cars. There is no parking and you need to park in blue zone. But Still I can recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We checked in the evening, the lady at reception was not really welcoming. The hotel is dark and old fashioned, poor quality of decorations ,the room was very dusty, the fridge was disgusting. However breakfast was excellent. We had a really strange experience no power for hours over the weekend and nobody contacted us to update us. On Monday we also had power cut which they were not able to fix. When we went to the receptionist to ask why the light were not on, no explanation was given. We were told to move to another hotel which was superb and modern Grandazza.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To be honest, it didn’t worth the price. You can not compare it to modern metropolitan hotels, it’s way too far from them. The design was quirky and kinda tasteless, lots of plastic furniture that looked “old” but didn’t really fit the 16 century theme. The room looked worse and darker than it was in the picture. No WIFI (we didn’t find it), no slippers, no bathrobe, uncomfortable round pillows (we both didn’t rest well), bad-quality gel and shampoo… we also didn’t understand how to open the windows.
The breakfast was good, the staff was very friendly and nice, they were willing to do extra work if needed. That’s awesome.
AC worked perfectly. Location is perfect also. So basically you overpay for the location and design. But for this price you can find much better hotels in the capital

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place in great location in the center of Brno. It's very classic for good and bad - quite old-fashioned and in need of some refresh. The room is big and has atmosphere. The hotel is small and cosy.
The value for money is mediocre, strangely Brno seems to be more expensive than many cities (such as Vienna) accommodation-wise.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location - easy walkable access to the main train station and other points of interest. The staff was friendly and easy to communicate with in English. It was super cold during my visit, but the room was nice and cozy. That said, there were some negatives as well. The room was a bit dusty, and the mini fridge was old and made very loud noises all night which made it very difficult to sleep. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable - I could feel the individual springs in the mattress. And the bread was quite stale at breakfast (though other parts of the breakfast were great and suitable for me as a vegan).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great stay here for 3 days in Brno, location can’t be beat with a charming courtyard in front and unique bohemian style throughout the hotel. Most of all, the breakfast exceeded expectations, after the first day we found ourselves excited for the next!
