★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful location and the hotel is equipped with an impressive spa center, the restaurant in the hotel surprisingly surprised, large rooms and clean only a rope that does not have air conditioning was so hot in the room and if you open the window the noise from the road starts from 6:00am

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Please be extremely careful when you make your reservation because they will NOT give you money back as they did no me. They charge my card 100% for ZERO service. I was not able to come because of COVID restrictions, which I am NOT in control. DISHONEST and DISCUSSING business!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely hotel with wonderful staff. Rooms are large, bright and in great condition. Nice area outside with no traffic or disturbance. 20 minutes to central Carlsbad which isn't too bad.

Dog friendly (normally it costs 8€, but for us was free - don't know why).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place itself was clean and comfortable enough. Decent location. Decor was remodeled 70's. The style of service was like it got stuck in the communist times. Housekeeping knocked incessantly on the room door at 8 AM (there is no "Do Not Disturb" tag to be had), hollered loudly in the hallways and left piles of dirty sheets and empty beer bottles in the hallway for hours. Ordering any kind of treatment was a hassle. Sauna was nice enough but lacked the usual amenities like towels, sheets, slippers (one had to ask for it and wait for the receptionist to go get a key etc etc). Also, cleanliness of it was somewhat questionable - most guests, who were completely nude, did not use a towel or a sheet to sit down on. If you stayed a few minutes past the breakfast cut off, you got asked to leave the room, even if you were just sipping the rest of your coffee. Check-in was a hassle too, took forever, and information had to be repeated multiple times, my friend even got her ID held overnight. All in all, alright, but I wouldn't go there again if I wanted to actually rest and indulge in modern spa activities.
