V roce 1843-45 byl založen městský park, ve kterém se dodnes dochovaly části opevnění a právě i Okrouhlice s portálem, který ústil na ochoz vnitřní hradby. Za děkanským kostelem se dochovala čtverhranná bašta, která sloužila i jako kostnice. V roce 1972 byly hradby rekonstruovány a bašta Okrouhlice byla zastřešena. Park je hezky upraven, stejně tak opevnění - nádherná část centra Klatov! The circular bastion, which was part of the inner city fortifications, was built in the 16th century. In 1843-45, a city park was established, where parts of the fortification have been preserved and so did the Okrouhlice tower with a portal that led to the gallery of the inner walls. Behind the dean's church you can also see a square bastion, which also served as a ossuary. In 1972 the walls were reconstructed and the Okrouhlice bastion was roofed. The park is nicely landscaped as well as the fortifications greatly repaired - a beautiful part of the center of Klatovy!
