The building of the Jesuit college from 1671-1710 is connected to the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. Later the building served as a barracks, today the building is again a church.

Stavba koleje započala v roce 1671 a navazovala na jezuitský kostel Nanebevzetí Panny Marie. Stavba byla dokončena až v roce 1710. Autorem projektu byl Ignác Bayer. Po zrušení jezuitského řádu byla v budově zřízena kasárna a celý objekt byl stavebně hodně upraven. V roce 1992 byly koleje vráceny církvi, která celý komplex zrekonstruovala. V roce 1997 byly koleje vysvěceny papežem Janem Pavlem II a získaly název Nový Adalbertinum. On the southern side of the Great Square there is a huge building of the former Jesuit College. The construction of the college began in 1671 and followed the Jesuit Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. The construction was completed in 1710. The project's author was Ignac Bayer. After the abolition of the Jesuit Order, a barracks were set up in the building and the whole building was modified. In 1992 the dormitories were returned to the church, which reconstructed the whole complex. In 1997, the collections were consecrated by Pope John Paul II and received the name of New Adalbertinum.
