Obrubeň byla zhotovena podle návrhu učitele Miroslava Oehma žáky II. ročníku a za dohledu ředitele Ladislava Haněla a učitelů J. Lankaše, A. Hallera a M. Oehma. Mřížovou obrubeň tvoří ornamentální osmiúhelník s motivem lipoveho listu s plody. Komponenty byly spojovány dohromady pomocí výhně, kladiv a svárů. Jednotlivá žebra konstrukce jsou nahoře zakončena větrnou korouhví dozdobenou postavou kováře. Beautiful Art Nouveau fountain on the Great Square in front of the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary was built in October 1901 by the technical school of the locksmith. The frame was made according to the design of the teacher Miroslav Oehm´s students, under supervision of the director Ladislav Haněl and the teachers J. Lankaš, A. Haller and M. Oehm. The main technical solution here is ornamental octagon with a lip-berry motif. The components were joined together by forge, hammer and welding. The individual ribs of the structure are topped with a winder decorated with a figure for the blacksmith. A beautiful Art Nouveau fountain on the Great Square in front of the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary was built in October 1901 by a locksmithery vocational school. The frame was made according to the design of teacher Miroslav Oehm by pupils II. under the supervision of the director Ladislav Hanel and teachers J. Lankaš, A. Haller and M. Oehm. The trellis consists of an ornamental octagon with a motif of linden leaf with berries. The components were joined together using forges, hammers and welds. The individual ribs of the structure are topped with a wind vane decorated with a blacksmith figure. Samotná kašna, dle mého názoru spíše studna, každého zaujme nádherně kovanou mříží. Doufám, že poctivá umělecká kovařina vydrží i pro příští generace. A beautiful place where you can sit on a bench in nice weather and enjoy the architecture of the Great Square. The fountain itself, in my opinion rather a well, will captivate everyone with a beautifully wrought iron grille. I hope that honest artistic blacksmithing will last for future generations.
