The Jubilee Memorial commemorates the victory of the Allied troops during the Napoleonic Battle. It was built at the expense of the Austrian government and the grand opening took place on 29 August 1913, one hundred years after the battle.

Pomník byl postaven ke stému výročí bitvy u Chlumce. Zbudován byl k uctění památky rakouských vojáků. Ze všech památníků souvisejících s touto bitvou je nejmasivnější. Zužující se válec je vysoký 25 metrů a na jeho vrcholu je umístěna socha lva od Adolfa Mayerla (1884 - 1954), žáka Josefa Myslbeka. Slavnostního odhalení pomníku se v roce 1913 zúčastnil i arcivévoda Karel a další významní hosté.
V roce 1992 proběhla rekonstrukce památníku, která zabránila jeho zřícení.

The monument was erected on the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Chlumec. It was built to honor the memory of Austrian soldiers. Of all the monuments associated with this battle, it is the most massive. The tapering cylinder is 25 meters high and on top of it is a statue of a lion by Adolf Mayerl (1884 - 1954), a disciple of Josef Myslbek. The ceremonial unveiling of the monument in 1913 was also attended by Archduke Charles and other important guests.
In 1992, the monument was reconstructed, which prevented its collapse.
