 A taste of our history

Our marketing organization was formerly known as Prague Information Service (PIS). PIS was established in early 1958 as an information and educational institution to support tourism in Prague and was one of the city's public-benefit corporations. Since January 2015, the organization has used the “Prague City Tourism” marketing brand exclusively. It has thus become a modern marketing agency and service organization. In 2018, the Prague City Council decided to transform the public-benefit corporation into a joint-stock company, a change which took effect on 1 July 2020.

Nice place for a picnic with beautifull views of the river, a Glass Museum located on Kampa Islandnear Lennon's Wall. It also features a couple of interesting / fotogenic statues, search for the faceless babies and the yellow penguins.

Love this little Park next to the river especially for the art works and in the evening they sometimes have live local music. Lots of spots to sit and have a drink and watch the boats or ducks go by. Fantastic chill spot.

I came to this park for the first time with some friends for the witches bonfire night, and I found it incredibly beautiful, with live music, and beer and sausages were sold almost at every corner of the park. I loved spending the evening here, and overall it is such a beautiful park that I will surely visit again with the children!

Enjoyed the lovely evening with friends. A lot of greens. Beautiful view of Prague from a cross the river. Advisable to have a light jacket or sweater as it gets cooler after 8pm.

Amazing park in Prague (Mala Strana). Several cafe and restaurants in and or near the park. In the summer time, a band plays in the park (beer and wine is available). Great place to walk and relax near the Vlatava River.
