Kaple Božího Milosrdenství

The chapel dedicated to God's mercy is located in the former sacristy. She was consecrated by Dominic Duke.

The original market settlement was first documented in 1260. It was promoted to a town in 1340 and until the 16th century it was the dowry town of Czech queens. The original church is mentioned as early as 1260. In 1745 the Gothic church burned down and could not be restored. The current church of the builder Leopold Niedereckr from 1755 - 1782 is a late Baroque building with Rococo and Classicist elements. A chapel was established in the former sacristy at the end of the 20th century, which was consecrated by Bishop Dominik Duka on the Feast of Divine Mercy under the local Archdeacon Mirosław Michalek. And since then she has been dedicated to God's Mercy. During the winter season (from October to the end of May) services are held here on weekdays.
