★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vojanovy sady. Pár kroků východním směrem teče majestátně Vltava, pár kroků západním směrem je zahrada Valdštejnská a pak už jen ruch, halas a tartas velkoměsta. A tady klid, řeklo by se přímo božský.
Ale ke kapli. Proč je zasvěcena svatému Eliáši? Někdy v polovině 17. století (po třicetileté válce) císař Ferdinand III. daroval tento prostor bosým karmelitánkám. Ty zde vybudovaly klášter a kostel svatého Josefa (1673 -1690). Kromě toho i zmíněnou kapli, protože sv. Eliáš je patron jejich řádu.
 Vojanovy sady. A few steps eastwards flowing majestically the Vltava River, a few steps westwards is the Wallenstein Garden and then just the hustle, bustle and tartas of the city. And here calm, it would say directly divine.
But to the chapel. Why is she consecrated to Saint Elijah? Sometime in the mid-17th century (after the Thirty Years War) Emperor Ferdinand III. he donated this space to barefoot Carmelites. They built a monastery and church of St. Joseph (1673 -1690). In addition, the mentioned chapel, because st. Elijah is the patron of their order.
