Vznik kaple sv. Terezie z Avily se nedá přesně určit, ale podle klášterní kroniky by to mohlo být někdy mezi lety 1715 a 1743. Ani autor není přesně známý, údajně by to mohl být Bartolommeo Scotti, který byl na začátku 18. století stavitelem kláštera, nebo také František Maxmilián Kaňka nebo František Ignác Prée. Nástěnné malby uvnitř kaple, které jsou - také údajně - dílem Jana Karla Kováře z roku 1745, představují výjevy ze života sv. Terezie, zatímco malba v kupoli je apoteózou této svaté.
It is located in Vojanovy sady, which is a very pleasant and quiet place in the very center of Prague. They keep peacocks here.
The origin of the Chapel of St. Teresa of Avila can not pinpoint, but according to the monastic chronicles it could be sometime between 1715 and 1743. Neither the author is not exactly known, supposedly it could be Bartolomeo Scotti, who was in the early 18th century builder of the monastery, and also Frantisek Maxmilián Kaňka or František Ignác Prée. The murals inside the chapel, which are also - allegedly - the work of Jan Karel Kovář from 1745, represent scenes from the life of St. Theresa, while painting in the dome is the apotheosis of this holy.
