Když navštívíte klášter, navštivte i kavárnu "Klarisek". The monastery is very nicely renovated. The visitor can see several circuits, from which everyone can choose according to their own interests. When you visit the monastery, visit the cafe "Klarisek".

V kontrastu s tím je současný stav poněkud neuvěřitelný - klášter je krásně opravený. Prohlídky jsou bez průvodce (resp. jedna prohlídka denně je komentovaná, ostatní ne). Byli jsme první návštěvnici, takže jsme celou prohlídku absolvovali sami a při vstupu do kláštera jsme dostali neplánovaný, ale vyčerpávající výklad o historii. Bez něj by to nebylo ono... Součástí prohlídky je i klášter klarisek, který je (myslím) ve vlastnictví města. First, try looking at an exhibition of photographs that show what this place looked like a few years ago. In contrast, the current state is somewhat incredible - the monastery is beautifully restored. Tours are without a guide (or one tour a day is commented, the others are not). We were the first visitor, so we completed the whole tour ourselves and upon entering the monastery we received an unplanned but exhaustive explanation of history. Without him, it wouldn't be the same ... Part of the tour is also the monastery of the Poor Clares, which is (I think) owned by the city.

Klášter byl založen v roce 1350 Kateřinou z Rožmberka, rozenou z Vartenberka, vdovou po nejvyšším komorníkovi Českého království Petru z Rožmberka. Klášter byl původně minoritský, první mniši sem přišli v roce 1357.
