A beautiful and magical place, only in summer it is completely crowded with people. I recommend it more out of the main season.

Above the monastery rises a lookout, which will be visited by almost everyone who goes to St. Janu is coming. Admission to the chapel in the monastery is free, but of course you can contribute voluntarily.

Very exposed pilgrimage and tourist place in the Bohemian Karst Protected Landscape Area. We chose the route here via the Srbsko-Bubovické waterfalls along the nature trail Srdcem ❤ Český kras and back along the Berounka to Serbia. Very nice route in December. St. John's is a frequent destination for family trips by car - parking right next to the monastery, on foot and by bike very nice surrounding rock views in the village confectionery and in the former school frequented restaurant

The Český kras Protected Landscape Area Information Center has only been housed in the building of the former Baroque rectory since 2020. The information center also offers the possibility of ordering guided walks to places you do not normally look at, such as the chapel of St. Maximilian and the Exaltation of St. Crisis. The monastery is quite nice nearby, there is the possibility of a very nice walk, on tourist days you will also find a restaurant and information center ... Parking is right next to the monastery for some money according to the length of parking. You will find here a few statues and in general the place looks well maintained.
