A low hill can be a suitable destination for undemanding walks. From the train or bus station it is a 15 - 20 minute walk (about 1.5 km) on the blue TZT, about two kilometers from the city center. A Gothic church of the Transfiguration of Christ, which apparently disappeared in the course of the 15th century, stood at the top of the tower since the 14th century. At the beginning of the 18th century, the Klatovy burghers built a baroque church of St. Anny. However, it was abolished in the second half of the 1880s thanks to the reforms of Emperor Joseph II. and gradually turned into a ruin. In the 1880s the church presbytery was newly vaulted by a dome brick vault, above which a lookout platform was created. After WWII War was built a new brick lookout tower. However, it has been closed since the late 1960s. Since 2006 the building has been rented by the Club of Friends of Klatovy and the tower was opened in 2016. Pretty low on the lookout tower. From a distance, it looks rather neglected. But it can be nice in the summer when the pub is working.

Nice place. The hill intertwined with several trails gives the opportunity to climb to the top in several difficulties. Upstairs is a relatively interesting object, where you will find the possibility of refreshments and climb up to the roof, where you can look around the region. During the trip to the top you will meet several exercise elements for the workout.

Unfortunately, you can't see much of the city through the trees, but the place is beautiful.
