Hill Hůrka west of Klatovy is 498 meters high and dominates the northern part of the Klatovy basin. Seen from the east and south, it appears to be a distinctive peak, from the north and east it only looks like a low hill above the city. At the western foot, under the church of st. Martina, is a small and nicely landscaped natural terrace, from which is an impressive view of the peaks of the Bohemian Forest, Všerubská Highlands, but also the picturesque valley Úhlava. There is a covered wooden gazebo with seating, next to it an information panel describing the peaks in your field of vision, a little closer to the church is a small playground and wooden benches. Hůrka hill (498 meters above sea level) west of Klatovy dominates the northern part of Klatovská Basin. When viewed from the east and south, it appears to be a distinctive peak of the whole area. At its western foot, below the church of St. Martin, there is a small terrain plateau, nicely landscaped, from which is a beautiful view of the peaks of the Bohemian Forest, Všerubská Highlands, but also the picturesque valley Úhlava river. For locals and tourists there is a wooden gazebo with seating, next to it is an information panel describing the peaks that we can see, a little closer to the church is a small playground and wooden benches. Nice place.
