 They play beautiful organ there! There are buried in the church: General Melas (Gen. Empress Maria Theresa) and director of the Kladruby Ridge.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kostel sv. Jana Křtitele stojí na vysokém ostrohu nad Labem a první kaple tu stála již v roce 1370. Tu pak nahradila v roce 1384 stavba kostela, který však byl v roce 1780 zbořen a v roce 1781 vznikl nový. Ani ten nevydržel, podlehl v roce 1834 požáru. Na zdi kostela je hrobka správce kladrubského hřebčince.
Church of st. John the Baptist stands on a high promontory above the Elbe and the first chapel stood here in 1370. It was then replaced in 1384 by the church, which was demolished in 1780 and a new one in 1781. He did not survive, he died in 1834 fire. The tomb of the Kladruby stud farm is on the church wall.
