Churches do not need much, but I liked this both my appearance and surroundings.

Picturesque church high above the river.

A place where you can enjoy peace and views of the surroundings ??

Perhaps somewhere near here was the murder of St. Wenceslas? But it is divine ...

Today's Church of St. John of Nepomuk was built as a parish church in 1357 and dedicated to St. Michael the Archangel probably on the site of the seat of St. Ludmila, who was probably originally buried here. It was later rebuilt several times. The masonry of the church is composed of regular blocks, the nave has a flat ceiling, rectangular windows cut in the Baroque style. The chancel is rectangular with a barrel vault, and with a section above the windows. The baroque altar with a painting painted on canvas shows St. Jan Nepomucký as a pilgrim to Stará Boleslav. At present, the church is cleared and consecrated and is used as a gallery run by the Association of St. Ludmila. During the tourist season, on weekends every hour you can visit all three Tetín churches and the ruins of the castle with a guide, which is available at the former rectory. At present, the church is vacant and deconsecrated and is used as a gallery operated by the Association of St. Ludmila. In the tourist season, weekends are available for every hour of sightseeing of all three Tetín churches and ruins of a guided castle that is available at the former parish.

The Church of St. John of Nepomuk at Tetín is exceptional for its location above the deep canyon of the Berounka River. It is a type of church, which I personally love very much for its size, rural surroundings, cemetery just next to the church building and here in addition the beautiful view that we have the opportunity and only about 5 m from the cemetery wall. We can enjoy the view not only of Beroun and Serbia, but also of trains running just below the rock on the line Prague - Pilsen, or just watch the river Berounka below us. The church is protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic and I think that each of the tourists should visit it.

The church high above the river can be seen from afar. It's very nice, unfortunately closed. And you can't even look into it. Nice place with a beautiful Votive Crisis in front of the entrance.

I'm not much for churches. But this one has style and what I like most is the view of Berounka from the path under the fence. I often walk in the morning and evening when the sun is low. It is a half-minute walk to Beroun railway station.
