Zamek vypada z venku krasne. Opravena fasada a okoli upravne. Bohuzel hodiny nesly. Bylo stale 16:55. Dovnitr se nemuze.
The castle looks beautiful from the outside. Fixed facade and surrounding area. We were looking forward to hearing the hours, which I allegedly play every hour. Unfortunately, the clock carried. It was still 16:55. He can't come in.

If you belong among the fans of history (especially the Přemysl´s), Tetín is really a special and very interesting village (also known as a pilgrimage place) situated in the Central Bohemia region about 2 kilometers east of the district town of Beroun above the river Berounka. Historically, Tetín belongs to the oldest villages in the Czech Republic. The site was inhabited already in the Paololite and the times of the first fortified settlements. We came from the east (the direction of the Český kras), so the first view of the hill, sharply cut by the surrounding valley, was really impressive - the natural character of the terrain makes Tetín a good place to defend. At the beginning of the 10th century there was a wooden princely court, which was the widow's seat of the Princess of St. Ludmilla, who was murdered here in 921. This "odd" is undoubtedly the fact that the later (modern) area not only (unfortunately) destroyed many traces of the medieval fortification, but began to merge with it in a really atypical fashion. If you ever visited Buděč, this is the opposite, but this is really hard to describe - it must be seen. Views from the promontory (for example by the Church of St. John of Nepomuk) to the Berounka valley are really breathtaking! A mustsee! Although it is a relatively small village, I recommend to spend more time for the visit, unfortunately we were in hurry to get the bus in Beroun, and the hour and a half was just for a qick guided tour. Next year in the spring I will definitely save more time to visit this remarkable place. Walking from Beroun is an easy trip, for keen travellers (without children) I recommend the route: Beroun - Tetín - Český kras - Srbsko - Karlštejn. Outstanding trip!

Historically, Tetín is one of the oldest villages in the Czech Republic. The place was inhabited as early as the Paeolithic and fortified period. If you have ever visited Budeč, for example, this is the exact opposite, but it is incorrectly described - it is necessary to see it. The views from the promontory (for example from the Church of St. John of Nepomuk) to the Berounka valley are truly breathtaking! Although it is a relatively small village, I recommend setting aside more time for a visit, unfortunately we hurried to the bus to Beroun, and the hour and a half was just for a quick tour. I will definitely do more to visit this remarkable place next spring. On foot from Beroun it is an undemanding trip, for more able tourists (without children) I recommend the route Beroun - Tetín - Bohemian Karst - Serbia - Karlštejn.
