★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Late gothic Roman Catholic church in operation since A.D. 1300 with old tombstones of benefactors from around A.D. 1500. Well preserved and active. Open only during a church service on Sundays. The church has a large tower bell that rings every day at noon. Original wooden sculptures of Saints from the main altar, smaller sculpture of Mother Mary with Child Jesus and Mary Magdalen are exhibited in the main exposition in Alšova Jihočeská Galerie in Hluboká nad Vltavou. Worth visiting.
