Uzavřený kostelík železnou bránou, takže si ho nelze prohlédnout.
Closed church with an iron gate, so you can not see it.

Malý, na první pohled trochu zanedbaný kostel na " Železné " Svatojakubské cestě.
A small, at first glance a bit neglected church on the "Iron" St. Jacob's Way.

The first report of the Church of St. Michael Archangel in Skryje dates back to 1350, when it was proclaimed as a parish. During the Hussite wars the local priest was expelled and the church remained under the administration of the pastor of Drahoňův Újezd. During the Thirty Years' War, it was burned out by Swedish troops. In 1659, Skryje was assigned to the skřivaňská farm and later to Panoší Ujezd. The new owner of the Křivoklát estate, Earl of Valdštejn repaired the church of St. Michael Archangel in 1696, also had built a new bell tower that was still wooden. He then built a brand new church with a cost of 2,588 golden coins in 1712. The church was repaired in 1839. A memorable linden tree stands in front of the western façade of the church. As a memorable tree it is protected since July 25, 1978. It is a solitary tree with a total height of 15 meters and a trunk circumference of 330 cm.
