Kostel svatého Michaela Archanděla stojí ve strmé stráni nad Jizerou proti hradu Michalovice uprostřed hřbitova v sousedství hospodářského dvora. Původně pozdně románská stavba byla ve vrcholné gotice 14. století přestavěna a v roce 1893 opět pozměněna Ludvíkem Láblerem v duchu novorománského a novogotického slohu. Jde o obdélnou jednolodní stavbu z tesaných kvádrů se západní pseudorománskou hranolovou věží a čtvercovým raně gotickým presbytářem s nárožními gotickými opěráky. Na kostele se nachází profilované pseudorománské okénko - u něj se autor přestavby nechal inspirovat oknem románského kostela v blízkém Vinci. Od 3. května 1958 je kostel chráněn jako kulturní památka České republiky, od roku 1990 je bohužel zcela nepřístupný, obklopen ostře střeženými soukromými pozemky. Jediným místem, odkud lze stavbu zahlédnout, je vyhlídková plošina nakloněné věže Putna nedalekého hradu Michalovice. Originally a late Romanesque building was rebuilt in developed Gothic style of the 14th century and in 1893 rebuilt again by Ludvík Lábler in the Neo-Romanesque and Neo-Gothic style. It is a rectangular one-aisled building made of hewn blocks with a western pseudo-Romanesque prism tower and a square early Gothic presbytery with corner Gothic backrests. On the church there is a profiled pseudo-Romanesque window. Since May 3, 1958, the church has been protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic, since 1990, unfortunately, completely inaccessible, surrounded by sharply guarded private land. The only place from which you can see the building is the viewing platform of the inclined tower Putna near the castle Michalovice.
