Church of St. Jiljí stands in the area of ​​the cemetery surrounded by a stone fence wall. The core of the church, built in the Gothic style, dates from the first half of the 14th century. In the middle of the 18th century, it was partially converted into a Baroque form. The furniture of the church dates from the 17th-19th century. In the area of ​​the cemetery there is a beautiful wooden prismatic bell tower from 1793. Opposite the church there is a baroque rectory from 1740, it is worth mentioning the beautiful baroque statue of St. Linharta. In addition to the Church of St. Giles, the statue of St. Linhart and the two-storey wooden bell tower, the list of immovable cultural monuments also includes the tomb of František Josef Gerstner. The church holds regular services every Sunday from 14:00. Church of st. Giles is located in the cemetery surrounded by a stone enclosure wall. The core of the church, built in the Gothic style, dates back to the first half of the 14th century. In the middle of the 18th century it was partly reconstructed into Baroque style. Church furniture comes from the 17th-19th century. In the cemetery there is a beautiful wooden prismatic bell tower dating back to 1793. A baroque parsonage from 1740 is located opposite the church, and a beautiful baroque statue of st. Linhart. In addition to the Church of Saint Giles, the statue of Saint Linhart and the two-storey wooden bell tower, the tombstone of František Josef Gerstner is included in the list of local cultural monuments. There are regular worship services in the church every Sunday from 14:00.

The beautiful, originally Gothic church from the 14th century is surrounded by a cemetery and stands under the castle wall, not far from it is a wooden bell tower from 1793. The church was renovated in the Baroque style in 1786. In front of the church is a statue of St. Linhart from 1740. The cemetery contains, among other things, the grave of F. J. Gerstner connected with the construction of railways.

František Josef Gerstner is buried in the local cemetery. He died here in Mladějov on June 25, 1832. He was an important physicist, mathematician, and also the author of the railway line connecting the Vltava with the Danube ... it was opened gradually from 1827.
