The beautiful single-baroque baroque church with a semi-circular presbytery and a tower on the north side was built in the 17th century by the reconstruction of an older Gothic church. It is located on a small hill in the eastern part of the village, a few minutes walk from the train station. The first mention of it is already in the founding charter of the Břevnov Monastery. The first direct informations come from 1352. The eastern part of the church is a remnant of the Romanesque building, the altar is a Baroque. In the 17th century almost all the church was rebuilt in Baroque style. During the 1990s the church was repaired to celebrate the millennium of the village. It acquired a new façade, repaired the roof and the dome. The church belongs to Zbraslavská parish and is protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic. You will find impressive tombstones of the old cemetery, near the octagonal Baroque morgue, now serving only as a warehouse for church maintenance tools and surrounding land.
