★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein herrlicher kleiner Ort nahe der Deutschen Grenze an Preßnitzer Talsperre. Über Satzung zum nahegelegene Haßberge hat man einen herlichen Panoramablick über das Erzgebirge. Der Abstieg nach Kryštofovy Hamry führt durch einen schönen Buchenwald und endet direkt an der Talsperre. In Kryštofovy H. angekommen kann man an einer kleinen Kneipe, bei einer alten, freundlichen Dame (bei günstigen Preisen - auch in Euro) kann man seinen Durst löschen und seinen Hunger stillen. Die Speisekarte ist übersichtlich aber das Essen schmeckt und es ist alles sehr sauber. Auch eine Tour mit dem Fahrrad ist sehr zu empfehlen, man sollte dabei aber seinen Ausgangspunkt gut wählen da man bei Start Schmalzgrube nur Bergauf fährt. In Schmalzgrube angekommen kann man dann entweder dem Radweg weiter folgen oder man fährt in der rustikalen historischen Schmalspurbahn weiter Tal abwärts. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen ??
A beautiful little place near the German border at Preßnitzer dam. About statute to the nearby Haßberge you have a lovely panoramic view over the Ore Mountains. The descent to Kryštofovy Hamry passes through a beautiful beech forest and ends directly at the dam. Once you arrive in Kryštofovy H. you can quench your thirst and satisfy your hunger at a small pub, an old, friendly lady (at reasonable prices - also in euros). The menu is clear but the food tastes good and everything is very clean. Also, a tour by bike is highly recommended, but you should choose its starting point well because you start at the start Schmalzgrube only uphill. Arrived in Schmalzgrube you can either follow the cycle path or you drive in the rustic historic narrow gauge railway further down the valley. All in all, highly recommended ??
