Convenient connection of the large area of ​​Waltrovka with the metro station and the adjacent railway station. The footbridge was ceremoniously opened on October 18, 2017. The load-bearing structure with eight bays is 101 meters long and overcomes a decent height difference of a full 16 meters. The technical administration of roads was entrusted with the construction of the construction, the construction work was performed by the company STRABAG. The bridge structure consists of two parts, which together form a single continuous unit. The upper (southern) part of the footbridge consists of a reinforced concrete structure 76.8 meters long and 4 meters wide. The surface is insulated in orange, the railing on the ledges is equipped with integrated public lighting from LED strips. In the lower (northern) part, the footbridge drops sharply between the administrative buildings of the Mechanica complex on Walter Square. The local surface of the footbridge is formed by the so-called riding staircase. All pillars are reinforced concrete, formed in the transverse direction into a Y-shape.
