★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Close to home and public transportation autobus and trams, the shop has pushed a lot of basic stuff in a medium space, someone claimed rotten fruit, never seen it, good assortment of food, Irish beef steaks, special themes, mexican, French etc and shopping for family clothing and interesting tools, gardening goods, bedding. Prices are good. These change on Monday and Thursday so expect women shoppers and longer lines around the times people get off work. Quiet midday. Helpful staff, never a problem about getting money back or returning items, they have always been pleasant to me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love Lidl shops and products they sell. Unfortunately this one is closest to my home, so I am somehow forced to go there as that is the best shop around. Unfortunately there is always super crowded (okay there is plenty of people living around) so it is really stressful to go there. The specials (non grocery stock) has always half full/empty, so it is hardly to get something you saw in leaflet. Almost always there is floor cleaning machine in meat isle and empty boxes everywhere. I must say, that the employees are always polite and don't look like zombies (as in other grocery franchises). Fortunately they opened a new branch close to my work, which is bigger, lighter and less crowded, so I am going to this one, basically in case of emergency.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Store layout is much improved from the start of the year. But there is a lot of queuing currently to the checkouts and it is poorly managed making people wait too close together and tempers are getting short.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My neighbourhood Lidl is AMAZING! The (weekly) "theme" items would normally be found in specialty markets. Items included in the "theme" promotions are: authentic, superior in quality and priced on offer. "Theme" items can be found in multiple categories...from consumables to alcohol to home decor, etcetera. Regular stock is ALWAYS fresh and high quality. Lidl, as a whole- considered to be a discount market, far surpasses most large chain supermarkets! My neighbourhood Lidl is not superior to any other Lidl markets. Lidl market standards (across the board) are consistent- no matter the Prague location! Worth the wait in cue!

Besides occasionally store suggests a variety of popular products of such countries as Greece, Italy, France... Today I bought here an amazing pesto, mozzarella cheese, dried tomatoes and pistachio nuts?
