★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pro nás obrovské...příjemné překvapení po kochání se krásnými domy ve středu města. Lide milí, usměvaví. Hrad přístupný v době před Silvestrem jen v exteriéru, ale o to větší překvapení i za mírného deště a chladu. Historie místa poměrně bohatá, nedávná velmi zahanbujicí. V roku 1957 došlo k zničení palácové části hradu komunistickým režimem-MNV. Tak velkou idiocii od rudého režimu jsem nečekal. V ruinách paláce nádherný slaměnný betlém, všude po cestě k němu ozdoby, světýlka a andílci. Vše s citem a péčí jako po celém nádvoří. Zlatý hřeb byl ovšem ukrytý v hradní Krčmě u Šedivky..teploučko, útulno, nápoje k zahřátí i něco k mlsání. Stálá vánoční atmosféra a neskutečná pohoda nás dostali. Usměvavá paní krčmářka to vše jen podtrhnula. Uvnitř plno a pocit jako doma. Děkujeme moc ???
 Huge for us ... a pleasant surprise after enjoying the beautiful houses in the city center. Nice people, smiling. The castle was accessible only before New Year's Eve only in the exterior, but even more surprising even in light rain and cold. The history of the place is quite rich, the recent one is very embarrassing. In 1957, the palace part of the castle was destroyed by the communist regime-MNV. I did not expect such a great idiocy from the red regime. A beautiful straw nativity scene in the ruins of the palace, ornaments, lights and angels all the way to it. Everything with feeling and care as in the whole courtyard. However, the golden nail was hidden in the castle tavern near Šedivka .. warmth, cozy, drinks to warm up and something to eat. The constant Christmas atmosphere and incredible comfort got us. The smiling innkeeper just underlined it all. Inside full and feeling at home. Thank you very much ???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ...the water castle in Česká Lípa, vodní hrad, did not see inside as the tour is every one hour...but not much to see..they use the place for cinema or plays or other entertainment, check it out in the Infocentrum for details
