The beautiful and interesting mill object probably dates back to the 13th century. However, the first written mention of it dates back to 1595. In the following years it was rebuilt many times, the current massive Baroque two-storey building is dated to 1747. In 1720 it was referred to as "the Great Mill", including a sawmill and a factory. It bears the name of a baker Jáchy Löwit, who bought it in 1883. At the time of the Austrian heritage wars in the 1840s, Libeň was plundered and the mill destroyed, as was the neighboring manor brewery. In 1872, the Vltava river bed began to be regulated. During this modification, the mill arm was also dried, which surrounded the Jewish Libeň and the mill was closed.

Moc hezké prostory a prostředí, zejména "sklep" má super atmosféru. Budova by si zasloužila rekonstrukci a ještě lepší využití.
Very nice facilities and the environment, especially the "basement" has a great atmosphere. A good idea is a recovery through various events, from second-hand store, through exercises to cultural events. The building deserves renovation and better utilization. A little worse is that the backgrounds, but sometimes you just can not keep everything just perfect. Certainly recommend there to visit some event.

OpenHouse Praha 2021? Fotky Karel Cudlín.

V rekonstrukci dobrovolníků . Středověké jsou už jen zdi mlýna. Mít na rekonstrukci , chtěl bych v tom mlýně bydlet.
In the reconstruction of volunteers. Only the walls of the mill are medieval. Having a renovation, I would like to live in that mill.

It will probably be an important architectural monument, but so far it is in fact under construction and cannot be evaluated much. We were here at the cat show from the shelter. The cats were beautiful, most found a new home (and thank you to all the organizers), but the whole building is dug up, unfinished interiors, there was an unfinished makeshift floor and loose planks. So far, this environment does not seem pleasant, but I would like to come here to see when everything is done and I change the rating.
