★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Schönes Marionetten Theater, das die Geschichte mit zahlreichen Künstler*innen und deren Familien verknüpft. Es gibt viele kleine Theaterkästen zum Kurbeln und ganz oben kann man viele Marionetten ausprobieren.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kleines aber wunderschönes Museum über die Marionettenspielkunst in Pilsen. Die Puppen sind teilweise sehr alt und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Man erfährt viel über die lange Tradition und den ursprünglichen Hintergrund des Puppenspiels in Pilsen. Dies geschieht sehr anschaulich über interaktive Monitore in den einzelnen Bereichen des Museums. Und zwar in tschechisch, deutsch und englisch. Es gibt kurze Vorführungen der Puppen wie in einem richtigen kleinen Theater ( Vorhang auf u.s.w. ) und man kann sich am Ende der Tour auch selbst versuchen. Ist echt lustig und macht viel Spaß, insbesondere auch für Kinder. Das Museum liegt sehr zentral, direkt an dem zentralen großen Platz ( Platz der Republik ) inmitten der Altstadt, zwischen einem Restaurant und einem Schuhgeschäft. Wir mussten auch zweimal schauen, so unscheinbar ist der Eingang.
Small but beautiful museum about the art of puppetry in Pilsen. Some of the dolls are very old and designed with great attention to detail. You can learn a lot about the long tradition and the original background of puppetry in Pilsen. This is done very clearly via interactive monitors in the individual areas of the museum. In Czech, German and English. There are short demonstrations of the puppets like in a real small theater (curtain up etc.) and you can also try yourself at the end of the tour. It's really funny and a lot of fun, especially for children. The museum is very centrally located, right on the central large square (Platz der Republik) in the middle of the old town, between a restaurant and a shoe shop. We also had to look twice, the entrance is so inconspicuous.
