Místními byla vždy obdivována, dokonce se stalo, že "Usnesením obecního zastupitelstva dne 3. března 1936 ku poctě 86. narozenin presidenta Osvoboditele lípa pojmenována Masarykovou, o čemž poslán dopis do Lán s projevem holdu." Při této příležitosti se konala slavnost a lípa byla též vysvěcena. ... Dnes má tento chráněný památný strom České republiky průměr kmene větší než 313 cm a výšku 14, 5 metrů.
 The linden has been growing here for at least 230 years.
