★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Centrálně pojatý pomník s fontánou, jehož centrum tvoří reliéf se čtyřnásobně zvětšenou bronzovou portrétní maskou a vyzlaceným nápisem "GOETHE". Pod ní dva bronzové terče, z nichž tryská voda. Dvě alegorické postavy z bílého mramoru spojuje metafora vody, která dala vznik městu Františkovy Lázně a přivedla sem i Goetheho. Ta vlevo představuje Pravdu (muž pijící z pramene poznání), vpravo zase Krásu (žena hledící na svůj odraz v hladině fontány). Při stranách dvě mytologické alegorie. Vlevo Pegas s milenci jako alegorie lyrické poezie, vpravo tradiční ikonografické téma souboje Kentaura s Lapithem jako alegorie dramatu.

Centrally conceived monument with a fountain, the center of which is formed by a relief with a four times enlarged bronze portrait mask and gilded inscription "GOETHE". Below it are two bronze targets from which water jets. Two allegorical figures made of white marble are connected by a metaphor of water, which gave birth to the town of Františkovy Lázně and brought Goethe. The one on the left represents Truth (the man drinking from the source of knowledge), on the right the Beauty (the woman looking at her reflection in the surface of the fountain). On the sides two mythological allegories. On the left Pegasus with lovers as an allegory of lyrical poetry, on the right the traditional iconographic theme of the battle of Centaur with Lapith as an allegory of drama.
