Gratulace úspěšným domažlickým fotbalistům

Postupem do divize z nejvyšší příčky krajského přeboru zakončili jarní sezonu fotbalisté B týmu domažlické Jiskry. K historickému úspěchu jim popřálo vedení města v úterý v podvečer na malém neformálním setkání v obřadní síni radnice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Uprostřed náměstí, přímo proti kostelu byla postavena radnice. V renesanční podobě poznamenané pozdním barokem, s pěkným gotickým portálem a po přestavbách v důsledku ničivých požárů, se dochovala do r. 1891. Pak byla zbořena, aby uvolnila místo dnešní moderní novorenesanční budově s věžičkou, dostavěné roku 1893.
In the middle of the square, directly opposite the church, the former town hall was built. In Renaissance style but also influenced by the late Baroque, with a beautiful Gothic portal and reconstructions due to devastating fires, it was preserved until 1891. It was demolished then to free the place for today's modern Neo-Renaissance building with a tower, which was built in 1893.
