This museum is for anyone with a remote interest in military related stuff. They show shells, ammos, guns, tanks, cannons. I did not know an 88 shell was that big until I saw it. You spend around 2-3 hours here. The lighting is quite dim on a rainy day. Its located out of town so you have to find it or uber if you have more than 1 person.

Free admission, plenty of exhibits could easily spend a day in here so two hours doesn't really do it justice. Opening hours 10:00-18:00, closed on Mondays. English annotations, easy to follow. Location a bit off the beaten track, Florenc seems to be the nearest Metro.

Great military history of Czech and Europe, + you got to play with guns time to time

Open everyday 10 - 6pm (excluding Mondays) and admission is free. It's about a ten minute walk from Florenc metro station. Every exhibit has an information board/sign attached in Czech and English. The ground floor is mostly related to the period in and around WW1, 1st floor around WW2. The exhibits range from uniforms, medals, artillery pieces, guns of all description, sabres, etc, from most european nations. If you like military history, a proper, old fashioned museum, where you can look at exhibits, not have to put up with screaming school kids, etc, then you'll definitely like this place. It does not look much from the outside but don't let that put you off.

Went by the other day and found out the museum is being renovated until 2020 and is closed. It's a shame because I've only heard good things about the collection.

Was supposed to reopen in 2020 but it's 2022 and it's not yet open?

Museum is under construction until 2020. Personally I didn’t enjoy the exhibition too much, maybe after the reconstruction I’ll give it another chance!
