★ ★ ★ ★ ★ První úvahy o prodloužení tramvajové linky do Motola se objevily již v roce 1919. Jenže stavební povolení bylo vydáno až v roce 1936. Nová trať (už tehdy č. 9) a s ní i vozovna byly slavnostně otevřeny 27. listopadu 1937. Autory projektu vozovny byli architekti František Maria Černý spolu s Adolfem Jandou.
The first thoughts about extending the tram line to Motol appeared as early as 1919. However, the building permit was issued only in 1936. The new line (already No. 9) and with it the depot were ceremoniously opened on November 27, 1937. The authors of the depot project were architects František Maria Černý together with Adolf Janda.

Na otevrenem dnu muzete videt jak nove, tak stare tramvaje, trenazer a velkou odtahovku tramvaji.
Sometimes it's an open day. It's deep at the traffic school, so you can look at both.
On the open day you can see both new and old trams, a trainer and a large tram tow truck.
