Good museum overall, but very small. The guided part is kinda interesting but the guide seems a bit bored by his own explanations. If you don't have many days to visit I'd recommend to skip this one

Its is an AMAZING place for fans of horror, gothic culture, esoterism. You can understand that the creator has put a great effort to make this place. DO NOT FORGET to visit Kellyxir across the alley. One of the best bars in Europe.

I can not say much about this museum as it extends only on two rooms, while being filled with fake materials that would look like old and real. What I can say though is that I have experienced the worst customer service from this peculiar and extremely rude guide and had to ask for a refund! A no-go for me and hopefully for you as well.

Museum of BS. The topic has a great potential, but the execution sucks hard. Basically, the guide said that everything in the display is BS. "Alchemist didn't use that or that but we put it on the display anyway." What a waste of time. If it is a museum, you should have real articles on display. A free development idea for the museum staff: the guide could be dressed with historical clothing, instead of stupid sweatpants. Instead of saying everything on the display is BS, the guide could tell stories of alchemists work, goals and lives while pointing out that the items on the display are re-creations of alchemist lab stuff etc.

Very poor exhibits and content. First part is smaller than a living room and 2nd part does not have any original exibhits The staff were kind and helpful.. our tour guide made an effort in explaining. Absolutely not worth your time and 220CZK(10$)

Fun place, amazing guide upstairs, price is a bit much for a place entirely recreated, there is a lot of reading. If you have an hour to kill it's a nice place to visit

A very atmospheric place! It looks more like an installation than a museum. Nevertheless, creepy authenticity shines through the humor of the modern presentation. A couple of exhibits even made me feel uncomfortable. It's good to have some idea about alchemy or take a tour to figure it out. We were lucky enough to arrive just 14 minutes before closing time. A friendly young man took us around the museum and we even made it up the spiral staircase to the tower. Unfortunately, the old building is not inclusive at all, and even on two legs it's not easy to climb the stairs.
