★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Райский сад — парковая зона расположенная с юго-западной стороны Пражского Града. Сад был разбит в середине 16 века по распоряжению Фердинанда II Тирольского.
Современный облик сада — результат перепланировки известного архитектора Йоже Плечника в начале 20 века. В западной части сада он разместил монументальную лестницу, в восточной — лужайку в английском стиле, в центре которой установил 40-тонную декоративную чашу из мракотинского гранита диаметром 4,3 метра и высотой 1,7 метров. В саду также размещены смотровые площадки откуда открывается потрясающие панорамные виды на Прагу.
The Garden of Eden is a park area located on the southwestern side of Prague Castle. The garden was laid out in the middle of the 16th century by order of Ferdinand II of Tyrol.
The modern look of the garden is the result of the redevelopment of the famous architect Jože Plečnik at the beginning of the 20th century. In the western part of the garden, he placed a monumental staircase, in the eastern - an English-style lawn, in the center of which he installed a 40-ton decorative bowl made of Mrakotin granite 4.3 meters in diameter and 1.7 meters high. The garden also houses observation decks offering stunning panoramic views of Prague.
