Typical palace and nothing much to explore.

The ticket you buy for Royal Palace is the same one you used to enter Saint Vitas Cathedral, The Golden Street and Saint George basilica. The royal palace is an interesting place to visit and see because it brings you back to the 13th century. A lot of details you can see on the ceiling and doors but because of the fire that’s happened in the past a lot of furniture was damaged and destroyed and what has been saved you can see inside of it.

This section can be skipped if you don’t have time. There is not much to see. I enjoyed old furnitures and ceiling but not much to see.

A beautiful must see in Prague. If you get the chance to be there, go up in the tower above St Vitus cathedral, it's worth it it.

It is the first palace which was under renovation. Really interesting place to visit.

The seat of Czech princes and kings until the 16th century, built on the remains of the Romanesque Soběslav Palace. A visit to the Old Royal Palace is part of the Prague Castle Tour. -/(+) ok looking, but not much to see - if it was not included in the castle ticket it would not have been Wort a visit

It is a cool place, cheap ticket for all the different buildings, I think it’s worth visiting, but it is not super impressive. I would say good to do at least once. The best part is the punishment rooms and the army rooms. It’s big so get ready to walk. Stairs are awkward.

Very impressive compound and even if you have just a few hours in Prague, this is where you should spend them. You can get tickets that grant you access to the old castle, the cathedral, the basilica and the Golden Lane, which are all next to each other. As you can imagine, the place can get super crowded with tourists, so if you'd like to avoid that, make sure you set your alarm early enough to beat the hoards of tourists who will be heading there. Walking up the hill yup the compound, there is a very nice little Café on the left with amazing views.
