★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Main entrance to Prague Castle. Very busy and can get quite congested with tourists, but an excellent photo opportunity nevertheless. The changing of the guard takes place here at 12 noon and it is recommended to get here early if you want a good spot to watch it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At first arrival I thought the guards were fake for tourists, but upon closer inspection I was mistaken. The changing of the guard happens at noon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The changing of the guard is at 12 noon every day. It is well worth making the effort to see it. Seen a few. Definitely the best so far.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really wonderful place!
Make sure to be there at noon to watch the guards changing.
The belvedere right outside the gate, on the left, is breathtaking.
It's really a must see if you go to Prague.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Statues look really cool. There is not a whole lot to do here, but it is a gate so what can you expect?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the gate to the second part of Prague Castle and keeps the Cathedral of St Vitas safe from marauding barbarians, and, perhaps, tourists, depending on how you might view us visitors!
Whilst functional, with its guards both sculptured and real, it is a beautiful example of this type of ornate ironwork.
