Definitiv einen (zweiten) Besuch wert. Very nice museum with interesting exhibits and great attention to detail. The history of the region is conveyed clearly and in an exciting way. Definitely worth a (second) visit.

Prohlídka trvala asi hodinu a půl. Byl to skvělý zážitek, jsou to krásné prostory a je opravdu na co koukat I really liked the museum. The lady greeted us and described where we can find and where to go. We had peace of mind for the tour, because no one was there. The tour lasted about an hour and a half. It was a great experience, they are beautiful spaces and there is really something to look at

Z jednej strony pokazana jest historia miasta do współczesności, a z drugiej - historia całego regionu, ze skupieniem się na okolicznych kurortach. Ceny wstępu: umiarkowane. Warto odwiedzić! On the one hand, the history of the city to the present day is shown, and on the other - the history of the entire region, focusing on the surrounding resorts. Admission prices: moderate. Worth a visit!

Alleinstellungsmerkmal sind die Exponate zum dreißig jährigen Krieg , insbesondere die Nachstellung von Wallensteins Ermordung bleibt lange im Gedächtnis . Die Geschichte der Region um Eger wird ingesamt sehr gelungen im großen historischen Kontext erzählt . Die Ausstellungen sind umfangreicher als man auf den ersten Blick erwarten möchte - zwei Stunden Zeit sollte man sich schon nehmen . Einziger Minuspunkt: die Vertreibung der deutschen Bevölkerung wird nur sehr oberflächlich gestreift . Gerade bei diesem Schmerzhaften aber wichtigen Thema hätte man eine intensivere Darstellung erwarten können . Extensive and modern museum. It starts with geology but the main part is history.
