Relatively old and dirty metro station, I would welcome its reconstruction.

The station was built as the final section of III. C. It performed this role from the opening in November 1984 until the extension of the metro to Kobylis in June 2004. The station is excavated, with two turning tracks, with two vestibules. It is located only 7 m underground, which caused relatively great difficulties in the years 2000-2004, in the end it was necessary to bend the parking tracks so that the route could lead under the Vltava at all. There are two exits from the platform - the southern one, which leads via escalators to the surface glass vestibule to the tram stop, and the northern one, which leads up a fixed staircase (including a lift) to the check-in hall of the Prague-Holešovice railway station and bus terminal. The station was built as the termination of section III. C. It played this role from the opening in November 1984 until the extension of the subway to Kobylisy in June 2004. It is located only 7 meters underground, which in 2000-2004 caused quite a lot of trouble, in the end it was necessary to bend the stabling tracks down so that the route could even lead under the Vltava River. From the platform there are two ascents - the southern one, which leads via the escalators to the glazed vestibule to the tram stop, and the northern one, which leads by a fixed staircase (with elevator) to the check-in hall of Prague- Holešovice station and bus terminal.

The metro stop is ugly, but it serves its purpose.

A beautiful example of a station that preserves the atmosphere of the 80s. I recommend visiting it before someone agilely reconstructs it into the shape of the 21st century. And the most beautiful is empty, at night.

The premises of the station itself are quite clean and pleasant, the platforms have plenty of benches. However, the area around the entrance to the station is full of homeless people, rubbish and unbelievable stench.
