Na chodník před budovou někdejšího nádraží Vyšehrad padají kusy omítky. Na nebezpečí v okolí kulturní památky si lidé pravidelně stěžovali na radnici Prahy 2, ta musela před časem dokonce uzavřít chodník před nádražím. „Majitele objektu, společnost RailCity Vyšehrad, se dlouhodobě nedaří přimět k jednání. Nyní však bude muset umožnit vstup do objektu…

Nádherný kus historie. Škoda že není v jakkoliv přístupném stavu. Krásná architektonická památka.
Beautiful piece of history. Too bad it's not in any accessible state. Beautiful architectural monument.

Cestujícím sloužila až do roku 1960... Dnes chátrá a to je velká škoda.
Sad history: since 1872, there was an inconspicuous station building. In 1904 it was replaced by an extraordinarily spectacular building, supposedly imitating a French chateau from the 16th century. It served passengers until 1960 ... Today it is dilapidated and it is a great pity.

Beautiful, unfortunately neglected railway station, which would be very good to repair and put into operation.

Unfortunately, a classic example of this as the owner can cough up the memory and let it fall. The building doesn't have much time left. The reluctance to save is great. The area has been burning several times.

To obnášelo i vybudování viaduktu přes Vltavu. The history of the Vyšehrad railway station began to be written on August 14, 1867, when discussions began on the project of the so-called Prague connecting railway between Smíchovské and Prague´s Main Station. Part of this discussion was the construction of the railway station in Vyšehrad district, which was to serve only passenger transport. Prior to the construction itself, the connecting track itself had to be completed. This included the construction of a viaduct across the Vltava. The railway bridge with 13 bays began to be built in August 1870 and on 15 August 1872 the operation on the connecting track was started, but regular passenger transport did not get on this line until October 1, 1888. The Art Nouveau railway station object at Vyšehrad railway station was built in 1904-1905, probably according to the project of Antonín Balšánek. As a railway station, it was abolished in 1960, today there is a turnout there. Until January 2008, a monumental half-timbered waiting room stood next to the station building, which was demolished without the permission of the conservationists. Although the building was declared a cultural monument in 2001, unfortunately it has been in a catastrophic condition and dilapidated for many years.
