★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect! We are passing by quite often, but till yesterday, we never had time to visit. When we came, we immediately saw couple of ground squirrels. They are very curious, so can come very close, to check, if you have some treat ?. It was great experience for kids to observe "wild" live animals so easily. Close by are also kids playgrounds and skate park.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to see endangered Ground Squirrel. There are plenty of them there. Ground squirrels are friendly and not afraid of humans. Reason is that people are probably feeding them even it is banned. It is great place to visit

In the same time, I've heard it is not allowed (not sure that it is correct).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easy to find and the squirrels are easy to find as well. Some of them are not shy at all and will come in groups close to you to see if you have food. We thought it was really nice to be able to be so close to them. It would be a good idea to research before hand so you don't end up feeding them stuff that can do them harm. I can't comment on the area, because we didn't explore it. We just went for the squirrels :D
