★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well the Duck was ok but it was a bit small for the price. Overflowed with red and white cabbage and not that much sauce anyway . So you had the knedliks but not sauce to put on them . Duck was tasty . The liver was good and a bit too much , this time what was missing was the bread that was not enough. I liked the place and will come again . Service was good .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ok so this may be the best czech restaurant in prague. we've been dining here weekly for two years now and were NEVER disappointed. among their best dishes are bryndzové halušky (confirmed by my Slovak fiance), svíčková, marinated hermelín. pictured are grilled chicken skewer with greek salad and chicken with grilled veggies, roasted potatoes and maple mayo. their daily lunch options are always amazing too! and the staff is THE NICEST - always super sweet and attentive. if i could give this place ten stars, i totally would.

The design design is nice and warm with some nice music on the speakers.
The staff was very fast and polite.
The food was really tasty I ordered a beef tartare and a gyros style plate.
Everything was really well prepared and fresh.
I totally recommend you to try it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a meat-heavy restaurant and I don't eat meat, so I can't comment on the food. However, they sell kegged half liters of Primátor Kvasnicový beer in beautiful tall Primátor glasses for 48 korunas. Although a Czech beer, Primátor tastes more like a Belgian abbey ale, with delicious yeasts that carry a strong banana flavor. Of the dozen or so Czech beers I've tasted, it's my favourite so far. Super well made, and I prefer it to many local craft beers I've drank in town that cost 50 percent more.
I also vastly prefer Primátor to Pilsner Urquell, the most famous beer made on Czechia, which they also sell for 48 korunas in the brewery's squat glass mug. The bartender and wait staff are friendly, and you can sit outside and enjoy the pandemic-safe seating on a relatively quiet street. I wish they offered Wi-Fi so I could screw around on my iPad while drinking a beer, but they do accept credit cards.
