Nový hřbitov začal být budován poté, co přestávala stačit kapacita hřbitova starého, bezprostředně kolem kostela sv. Mikuláše. Oba hřbitovy odděluje ulice s jednoduchým názvem Mezi Hřbitovy. Ve spodní (východní) části areálu nového hřbitova stojí památník a válečný hrob věnovaný obětem 1. a 2. světové války. Jde o jednoduchou stavbu ze žulových a mramorových kvádrů. Dílu dominuje sloup na vrcholu zakončený znakem s českým lvem. Pod ním na podstavci je velkými číslicemi vepsán osudový rok 1945. The new cemetery began to be built after the capacity of the old cemetery, just around the Church of St. Nicholas, ceased to suffice. Both cemeteries are separated by a narrow street with the simple name "Between Cemeteries Street". In the lower (eastern) part of the new cemetery there is a memorial and a grave dedicated to the victims of World War I and II. It is a simple building made of granite and marble blocks. The work is dominated by a pillar with a Czech lion emblem on its top. Underneath it on the pedestal, the fateful year of 1945 is inscribed in large numbers.
