Ves je zmiňovaná v roce 1057 v zakládací listině litoměřické kapituly jako Malešův dvůr (6 usedlostí a jedna zahrada). Malečov má dnes 10 částí. Na Malečovsku žije přes 700 obyvatel. Na kraji lesa kopce Trpasličí kameny (659 m n. m.) je výklenková s půlkruhovým závěrem ze začátku 19. století. Okolí kapličky je krásně udržované a z místa je krásný pohled na obec.
Malečov village is located in the picturesque countryside of the Central Bohemian Uplands about 9 km from the center of Usti nad Labem. The village is first mentioned in 1057 in the charter of the Litoměřice chapter as Malešův dvůr (6 farms and one garden). Malečov has 10 parts today. There are over 700 inhabitants living here. On the edge of the forest, the dwarf stones (659 m) the alcove chapel stands with a semicircular finish from the beginning of the 19th century. Surroundings of the chapel is beautifully maintained and there is a beautiful view of the village from this place.
