The services are getting better, but it is still pretty bad overall. Lots of areas to improve... An office for foreigners where you cannot speak English (or any other foreign English apparently) Prepare to show papers for literally everything...

You can’t get a ticket without having appointment. No online reservation, by phone after two months. They just make foreigners to experience the worse….

I had an online appointment there for the first time after being transferred from a bigger department at Žukovskeho. I arrived earlier and got a booth number right away without waiting for my time slot. Maybe it was that fast because this department is smaller. The government ladies were quite nice and patient to my request although my Czech is very far from good. Sometimes their database lags so you have to wait for longer. I was out within 15 minutes, the service I went for was for free, but for other paid ones it’s better to arrive with stamps (kolky) prepared.

Absolute joke. You make an appointment and still have to wait in a hot corridor for hours. Ticket system doesn’t work and no English speaking for an immigration office.

ATTENTION TO NEW REQUIREMENT - nobody is mentioning anything, until you are there and they send you away, you NEED A 200CZK STAMP from PostOffices/CzechPoints when you make operations.

They can't even speak a word in English whilst living in Europe, with many nationalities without borders, and yet think they are superior to you because you don't speak Czech. Look lady at ground floor booth 3, I make at least 7-8 times more than you in a month and I pay more taxes than your salary to this country each month, so instead of sarcastically laughing at me because I speak English just focus on your miserable job and get it done. The Czech government should let these people take some integration courses instead of foreigners, they need more than them. Maybe some basic communication courses would help too.

An immigration office where nobody speaks and/or understands English. What are the expectations here, only people with fluent Czech skills will come to Czech Republic as an immigrant/expat/skilled worker? I bring an interpreter every time to avoid this and speak English with the interpreter and yet the clerks tell me that they don't speak English. Well, maybe that is the reason why I bring the interpreter in the first place :) Most clerks/employees here are the laziest and grumpiest I've ever witnessed (especially the ground floor). I am sorry but I'm not the reason of your poor life decisions. If you hate your job, unhappy with your life, your salary etc. go find something else and don't waste government resources. Even though you make online appointments they are never on-time, so expect a 1 hour delay minimum.

Easy to book an appointment over the phone, they spoke English in the call, booked me for the next morning. Ticket system very well organised separated by people with booking online, booking over the phone, without booking, for EU, for non-EU. I had my appointment at 08:30 and I was called in at 08:34. The Lady who managed my application didn't speak English but her colleague next to her helped us when needed. It took 30 minutes for the application (I had to fill in the form otherwise would've been quicker.
