The Olšany Cemeteries also include the burial grounds of fallen Czech legionnaires and Red Army soldiers from World War I, victims of the Battle of Dresden in 1813, victims of the Prague Uprising, soldiers from the Commonwealth countries, the Red Army and the Russian Liberation Army from World War II.
