★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Parnas fountain is an attractive Baroque fountain and architectural monuments in the centre of the Vegetable Market square. The fountain has a large sculptural ensemble depicting classical themes. The sculpture consists of a hollow cairn or cave like structure, with a sculpture of Hercules bring Cerberus back from Hades. All around the structure are sculptures of fantastical creatures and nymphs.
The fountain just has so many interesting elements, I’d go out of the way to see it if in the city.
