★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Superb location inside the city center of Prague, next to restaurants, all kinds of shops and public transportation, yet quiet at nights, great value for money, very clean and spacious rooms. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All in all it was good. But still incounter some problems along the stay. We got room 605 with 4 beds.
The room got some heaters but not even heating up. I've tried to ask why its not working, I was told i dont know by the attendant so i leave it as what it is. We stayed 2 cold nights. So i recommend to try in the first hour your heaters and if its not working try to request new room. Second was the water pressure. 6th floor and the water pressure is not good for taking a bath. It takes time to wash your body throughly and the temperature change is very difficult to set you will waste alot of water to set it up and no floor towels ,rest room door has no lock. Lastly rooms dont have cabinets just for the info. But still I'll recommend this place for security reasons you will feel secured on your stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ DO NOT book this hostel! We made a large group reservation. Unfortunately the pandemic came when we should visit Prague, so Hostel Downtown promised us a voucher so we could come back later when the situation is 'calmer'. The hostel is now ignoring our mails and calls. Very poor service

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best hostel so far..travelled more than 30 countries around the world, these ppl's hospitality is just a different level. Kudos to all receptionist working there. Well done to make your country proud. The whole place is kept clean all the time. Receptionist answers all emails within minutes. Well done guys. You made me love czech people very much.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service. The receptionists speak good english and are very helpful, we had a wonderful time here. Everything is clean, we had a room for 10, lots of sunlight and a bathroom (no toilets in the room)
Overall, good experience.

Great staff! With all the questions we had prior to our stay and later on they helped us very well!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great, homely place to stay on a budget in Prague, the staff were very helpful, especially the lovely Anna-Maria who patiently answered all our questions and offered great advice about local amenities and services. They have everything a backpacker needs and the large, well stocked kitchen with automatic pancake machine was excellent. Mostly caters to a younger crowd so it can get a little rowdy on weekends.
