Somehow I don't understand so many positive reviews. And I definitely can't agree. I am either very demanding or very undemanding people come here. The family approach of the staff agrees. But too family for me, I would appreciate more professionalism. When we arrived, the lady who was probably in charge of most was not nearby. So we couldn't pay the night ahead. Damn it. The fact that we came to a room where "white" towels were lying on our bed, which obviously already had a lot of laundry and people behind them ... also the stained sheets on the bed had a lot behind them ... take the devil too. The fact that my ears were cleaning sticks on the floor in the bathroom ... somehow didn't fit me with the mentioned purity either, but so be it. The fact that the shower door had fallen out and was leaking a little in the mood, but it still worked. Until they fell on my head during the shower in the evening. I'm not really used to repairing a shower door somewhere when I'm on vacation. The fact that the shower head is older and sprays in all directions due to the seal did not add to my mood either, but I still tried to take everything with humor with my friend. Breakfast was included in the price. She was fine and I commend her. But the price should also include a discount card for some activities in the area (I assume that the cable cars and similar to other cottages and guesthouses in the area), no one offered us here. The room with billiards and football, which is part of the cottage, no one showed us. I think it's meant to be a welcome thing, but ok. We met the owner until the evening (she didn't even introduce herself to us). There was almost no problem with food. Relatively tasty food. In addition, they met me with a gluten-free diet. Although a little stubborn, but they came out. But the worst experience came the last day of payment. According to the internet price list, we had to pay 400 per person / night (outside the winter season). The price included breakfast and a discount card. Most of you usually come here via a voucher. We weren't through it. But the lady kept mentioning him. Well ... the total price at the end was such that she probably counted the voucher anyway and it cost us a lot more expensive. When I wanted to resolve it with the owner in peace by e-mail, she could not even meaningfully answer. She answered my questions with one message that the price corresponded to the price of the voucher, which we did not have !! It really pissed me off. Because if I paid for it on the first day, I would turn around on the doorstep of the cottage and go look for another accommodation. If at least the quality of services and rooms matched, I am silent. But this was too much for me. For this price, I would have a room elsewhere with a mini TV, clean and possibly with a kitchenette, even if shared. I absolutely do not recommend for me. Although ... you may be more respected with the voucher;)

The room was simply equipped and clean. We were just a little sorry that there was no TV in the equipment. Otherwise, we must commend the excellent cuisine, we were even on the cards given the regional specialitka- sour soup They have a really hearty dinner here and very rich snídaně.Děkujeme lady owner and the entire staff for a wonderful human touch!

We spent a nice long weekend in the cottage. We were pleased by the very friendly and family-friendly staff and especially the excellent cuisine. In such a tasteful and honest, mostly traditional, food, which is cooked here, one cannot often find another place elsewhere. I'm sure to recommend the restaurant when you drive around. The room was furnished in a simpler style but clean. Overall, 5 *

Beautifully situated mountain chalet surrounded on one side by the Spindl part of the Elbe river and on the other side by mountain forests, located only a few minutes from the center of Špindlerův Mlýn. Service 10/10 and Mrs. owner is invaluable, what one thinks he gets. Great environment for families with children as well as for bachelorette parties and other major events.

After a busy day, we were looking forward to rewarding ourselves with good food and visiting the aforementioned restaurant. If we were to talk about interior and cleanliness, we would have to turn around in the door. But there was a hot dog and we gave them a chance. Error! Blueberry dumplings made of semi-finished product that were as hard as concrete and bacon dumplings per minute (one dumpling cut in half). We don't have to talk about the mountain surcharge ... Great disappointment !!!

We were staying with a friend for the weekend and without a mistake. Welcome to almost family, smiling staff, clean room. As early risers we had breakfast two hours earlier. Nothing was missing. And even if it was missing, we would definitely get it. When it's possible, we'll definitely be back again (just because of the pool: P). I definitely recommend chat;)

The communication with the cottage management was terrible, so at the beginning we suspected that something would be wrong. Two days before our stay, we noticed at FB Chata Michlák that the cottage is closed, so I had to call to find out what was happening, the manager was assured that everything was fine. Now for the stay itself, the price is adequate, if you don't mind, read below. The cottage from the parking lot (about 10m) looks good, but as you get closer you begin to notice dirt and cobwebs, in the reception dust and strange abrasion, not like in other guesthouses where it smells of cleanliness (I do not mean spilled savo). Rooms: you have nowhere to hang things, which is important in the winter season, you will not find any hooks in the bathroom, let alone soap, the towel was only available small (2x), when we asked the manager if any towels were possible, we were said not at the moment, but when he washes them and dries them, he gives them to us ... he probably dries them to this day. No curtains or drapes, so when you light up in the evening you're in a shop window. Bed linen washed and instead of a pillow a piece of something stuffed in the bed linen. The beds were untangled and the mattresses lay in such a way that we went home the day before because we had not slept for two nights. I'm not talking about cleanliness in the room at all. Game room: dirty corner, formerly probably a lounge. Smoking area ... ?? !! ... open room, so the stench all over the cottage and the same from the kitchen, as if they did not know how to use the exhaust. Restaurant: dirty stained tablecloths, smell, bar dirty. Menu: just fried meals and if you have half board, then you still have no choice but to have a fryer, because put four plates on a plate for an adult guy. The dumplings are really funny..If you would like to have soup at noon at the cottage, you are unlucky, it is not ready yet and in fact you will wait for coffee for at least half an hour, because the staff God knows where. Chata Michlák has four employees who do everything, but no one does anything right.

We haven't been to this cottage, just around it. But this is a wonderful and beautiful, somewhat forgotten region, I can recommend slightly demanding hiking trails, a snack with me, excellent water can be found in the mountain springs and will certainly delight the incredible views ..
